Samsung Galaxy A36 Global Launch: Bags FCC Certification

Samsung is currently developing new mid-range smartphone models within its Galaxy A series. Recent leaks and reports have verified that the company is focusing on the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 models. Additionally, a recent certification discovery suggests that the global launch of the Galaxy A36 5G is approaching. Let us explore this further.

Samsung Galaxy A36 Spotted on FCC

Recently, the Galaxy A56 model from the South Korean technology leader was identified in the FCC database (as reported by MySmartPrice). Additionally, the budget-friendly Galaxy A36 has now appeared on the same certification platform. This forthcoming mid-range smartphone is associated with the model numbers SM-A366E/DS and SM-A336U, where “DS” indicates compatibility with Dual SIM functionality.

In addition to this, the FCC listing verifies the inclusion of 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, GNSS, NFC, and WiFi (802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax). Although specific details regarding its specifications remain undisclosed, the database also indicates that the smartphone is compatible with the EP-TA800 charger and the EP-DA705 data cable. This particular charger is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 9V and 2.77A. Consequently, the Galaxy A36 is expected to support 25W wired fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A36 global launch seems near: Bags FCC certification

Earlier this week, the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 were observed on the GCF certification, indicating their imminent announcement. Additionally, the confirmation of their release in India was provided last month through a BIS certification sighting. The Samsung Galaxy A36 is anticipated to feature either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or potentially the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, likely accompanied by 6GB of RAM. It is expected to operate on the Android 15 OS from the outset, and leaked images have suggested a design reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 10.
