Samsung continues to utilize notched displays for its A2x and lower-tier models for reasons that remain unclear. The Galaxy A26 adheres to this trend, showcasing a waterdrop-style notch along with a prominent chin at the bottom.

In contrast, the rear design of the A26 aligns more closely with that of the A36 and A56. The camera arrangement is now housed within a pill-shaped module rather than individual rings, and the panel retains a flat surface. Additionally, the Key Island design is evident on the right edge, and the device will be offered in white, black, and mint green color options.
What to Expect?
A prior report indicates that the Galaxy A26 5G is expected to be equipped with a 6.64- or 6.7-inch FHD+ display, boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz.
In terms of dimensions, the device is anticipated to measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm and weigh 209 grams, resulting in a slightly larger yet slim and lightweight profile. This design is more streamlined compared to its 8.3 mm thick predecessor, which weights 197 grams. It is likely to be launched with a 5000mAh battery.
Regarding its software, the Galaxy A26 5G is set to come pre-installed with Android 15, which will provide users with some of the latest features and security enhancements from both Samsung and Google. The release of the Galaxy A26 appears to be on the horizon, as it has been over a year since the introduction of its predecessor.
