Nothing has been officially announced regarding the launch of the Phone (3a) series on March 4. The series is expected to feature the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro models. Additionally, the company has disclosed key specifications, focusing on major improvements in camera technology.
Key Specifications
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is expected to incorporate a quad-camera configuration, which will include a 50MP “Shake Free” OIS primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and an impressive 60x “ultra” zoom capability. Additionally, it will feature an 8MP ultrawide camera manufactured by Sony, along with a 50MP front-facing camera. Notably, the periscope lens will mark a first for the Nothing brand.
In contrast to the Pro model’s periscope lens, the Nothing Phone (3a) will be equipped with a 2x zoom camera. The enhancement of the main sensor is designed to capture 64% more light and to store 300% more data per pixel, thereby significantly improving its performance in low-light conditions.
In addition to revealing the launch date and certain camera specifications, Nothing has also released an image of a distinctive camera island, which was acquired by GSMArena. This design appears to correspond to the camera setup of the Pro model.

Both variants will support Ultra HDR functionality across all four cameras, while the main and front-facing cameras will facilitate 4K video recording with stabilization and an improved night mode.
