Jetour, a sub-brand of the Chinese automaker Chery, is set to launch two exciting new SUVs, the Jetour Dashing and the Jetour X70 Plus on February 20, 2025.
According to Chery, Jetour’s name combines “Jet” and “Tour,” symbolizing a commitment to providing fast and convenient travel experiences.
Jetour Dashing
The new Jetour Dashing is priced at Rs. 8,295,000 (ex-factory), excluding withholding tax. Bookings for the SUV will open tomorrow, with a booking price of Rs. 2,000,000. The estimated delivery time is two months.
Jetour Dashing is a five-seater crossover SUV that merges modern aesthetics with functionality. Its front design is characterized by a bold multi-level slatted grille, complemented by automatic LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, which enhance both visibility and visual appeal.
The interior of the Dashing is designed to provide ample space and comfort, making it ideal for city driving. It features a dual 10.25-inch infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring effortless connectivity for both drivers and passengers. The inclusion of a panoramic sunroof contributes to a light and open atmosphere, while the synthetic leather seating enhances overall comfort.
Under the hood, the Dashing is equipped with a 1.5TCI turbo engine that produces 154 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It achieves a fuel efficiency of approximately 12.8 km/liter, positioning it as an economical option. Safety is prioritized with features such as six airbags, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera system.
Jetour X70 Plus
The new Jetour X70 Plus comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,495,000. Please note that this is the ex-factory price and does not include withholding tax. Bookings for the SUV will open tomorrow, with a booking price of Rs. 2,000,000. The estimated delivery time is two months.
The Jetour X70 Plus is a generously sized 7-seater SUV tailored for families seeking additional space and adaptability. This model features a sturdy exterior highlighted by a prominent chrome grille. Its 19-inch alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof further enhance its upscale appearance.
Inside, the X70 Plus offers a spacious cabin that comfortably seats up to seven individuals. It is equipped with an impressive 25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The luxurious ambiance is elevated by ambient lighting and leather seating.
Under the hood, the X70 Plus is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It boasts a fuel efficiency similar to that of the Dashing, approximately 12.8 km/liter. Safety is a key focus, featuring multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and a 360-degree parking camera, ensuring it is a dependable option for families.
