Xiaomi has formally declared its upcoming “Ultra” launch event, set to take place on February 27 at 7 PM (local time). During this event, the company will introduce two of its most high-end products: the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone and the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicle. Recent reports indicate that both devices embody the highest level of Xiaomi’s technological innovations, featuring notable improvements in imaging capabilities and overall performance.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to be the brand’s most sophisticated smartphone to date, incorporating the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset alongside a Leica quad-camera system. A significant enhancement is the introduction of a periscope telephoto lens, which is said to feature a 200-megapixel sensor capable of 100x AI-enhanced zoom, allowing for intricate long-distance photography. Official images of the device showcase a dual-tone aesthetic with a silver and black finish, complemented by a circular camera module adorned with the Leica logo.
Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, has suggested that there may be a price increase compared to the 14 Ultra, which was initially priced at 6,499 Yuan (approximately $900), citing escalating development and component expenses.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra

The SU7 Ultra, which is Xiaomi’s priciest offering to date, features a tri-motor configuration (V8s+V8s+V6s) that produces an impressive 1,548 horsepower. With the incorporation of the second-generation Kirin battery, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 1.98 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of over 350 km/h. For its production model, Xiaomi has maintained the same chassis, motor, and battery pack as those found in the concept version.
RedmiBook Pro 16 2025 AIPC

Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, is set to unveil the RedmiBook Pro 16 2025, a laptop tailored for the AI-driven era. This device incorporates the Xiaomi AIPC engine, which facilitates effortless file transfers with Apple devices and offers intelligent system enhancements. The laptop is anticipated to be available in at least two color variants—white and blue—while featuring a sleek, minimalist design characterized by an ultra-thin bezel display. Xiaomi aims to position this model as a high-performance notebook that prioritizes extended battery life and productivity, with availability commencing immediately following the launch event.
Alongside these flagship offerings, Xiaomi will also present a range of additional products, including the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro, a central air conditioning unit, a dual-system refrigerator, a washer-dryer combination, and an AI-enhanced smart speaker.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and SU7 Ultra will be highlighted for the global audience at the forthcoming MWC 2025 technology exhibition.
