The organization intends to transform AI experiences by incorporating sophisticated AI solutions into its smartphones, with an emphasis on innovation, security, and comprehensive AI improvements across its systems. This announcement underscores Oppo’s dedication to advancing the frontiers of AI through collaborations with key players in the industry.
Advancing AI with System-wide Integration
As artificial intelligence applications progress, Oppo is shifting from basic functional AI to a more integrated system-level AI experience. The company is partnering with Google to incorporate Gemini AI into various Oppo applications, including Notes, Calendar, and Clock, and is also preparing to introduce Gemini 2.0 to its devices soon.
To safeguard user data, Oppo is utilizing Google Cloud’s Confidential Computing within its Private Computing Cloud. Throughout the year, features such as AI Recording Summary, AI Search, AI Studio, and AI Call Summary will be integrated into this secure framework.
Additionally, Oppo is advancing its AI-driven capabilities in productivity, creativity, and imaging. The company is enhancing AI performance by utilizing MediaTek’s latest chips, enabling real-time processing while maintaining energy efficiency. Upcoming updates will include new AI-powered features like AI Call Translator and AI VoiceScribe, which provide real-time translation during calls and voice summarization, respectively.
Expanding AI reach and Future Innovations
Oppo is dedicated to enhancing the adoption of artificial intelligence to increase its AI user base to nearly 100 million by the end of 2025. To facilitate this growth, the company intends to introduce an average of one AI update each month. Notable forthcoming innovations, including AI Search and a more profound integration with Google Gemini, will be launched on the Oppo Find N5.
During MWC 2025, Oppo will present its latest AI-enabled smartphones, including the Find N5, Reno13 series, and Find X8 series, alongside advancements driven by AI, underscoring the company’s commitment to influencing the future of mobile AI.
