Several reports have indicated that Poco is set to launch the Poco F7 series of smartphones for the global market later this month. In anticipation of the release, a user on X has posted a teaser, suggesting that the unveiling will take place on March 27. The poster hints that the series might feature a phone with an Ultra branding.
Poco F7 Series Launch Date Tipped
Reports indicate that the Poco F7 series will consist of three models: the Poco F7 Ultra, Poco F7 Pro, and Poco F7. The Pro and Ultra versions are anticipated to launch on March 27, while the F7 is expected to make its debut in the second quarter of this year.
The Poco F7 Ultra is thought to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro. As such, it is likely to come with a 6.67-inch OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Although the K80 Pro is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, the F7 Ultra may have a slightly smaller 5,300mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
Recently, the F7 Ultra was seen achieving impressive AI performance scores on Geekbench. New benchmark results have now surfaced, detailing the device’s single-core and multi-core performance. These results indicate that the F7 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, comes with 16GB of RAM, and runs on Android 15. It achieved approximately 2,300 in the single-core test and around 8,150 in the multi-core test.
The Poco F7 Pro, anticipated to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80, is rumored to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. While the K80 boasts a 6,550mAh battery, the F7 Pro might come with a slightly smaller 6,000mAh battery and support for 90W charging.
Additionally, Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro in April in China, which will be equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite.
