This new model offers enhanced functionalities, taking smart home security to the next level.
TCL K7G Max Specifications
The standout feature of this device is its 3D facial recognition, utilizing structured light technology similar to what you’ll find in Apple’s Face ID. TCL asserts that this system is intelligent enough to adjust to variations in lighting and appearance, thanks to ongoing AI learning and eight different recognition algorithms operating in the background. It can store up to 20 different faces and offers various unlocking methods, including fingerprint, password, NFC, mechanical keys, and even remote access via your smartphone.
Beyond facial scanning, the door lock monitors the area outside as well. It features a dual-camera system that combines a 2MP front camera with a 160-degree field of view and a 1MP rear camera equipped with a 120-degree wide-angle lens, ensuring comprehensive coverage around your entrance. You can view video feeds on a built-in 4.5-inch IPS touchscreen, which TCL refers to as a “cat-eye” display. This screen also integrates with the company’s smart ecosystem, allowing connections to phones, TVs, and other displays for remote surveillance.

All of this functionality is powered by a 6000mAh battery, which TCL claims can last up to eight months on standby, aided by its T-Power energy management system. You’ll receive low-battery alerts and visual indicators to prevent unexpected issues, along with energy-saving modes to extend battery life even further.
The K7G Max is encased in aluminum alloy and basalt glass, giving it a luxurious touch. It also incorporates noise reduction technology to ensure a quiet experience when locking or closing the door.
