Oppo has launched two new models in its Find X8 series, providing premium features at more affordable prices. The Oppo Find X8s and Find X8s+ are equipped with robust chipsets, impressive cameras, and durable batteries.
Design and Display
The Oppo Find X8s boasts a 6.3-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, providing a responsive and visually stunning experience. In contrast, the Find X8s+ features a larger 6.59-inch AMOLED display, also with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it an ideal choice for those who enjoy bigger screens.
The Oppo Find X8s is available in four colors: Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, Island Blue, and Cherry Blossom Pink. Meanwhile, the Find X8s+ comes in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, and Hyacinth Purple, and it is designed with aluminum alloy rims for enhanced durability.
Internals and Software
Both models are equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which includes an overclocked prime CPU core running at 3.73GHz. They offer up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, ensuring efficient multitasking, rapid performance, and ample space for apps, photos, and files.
Running on ColorOS 15.0, based on Android 15, these devices provide a user-friendly interface, improved features, and a sleek design for an optimized user experience. Additionally, they incorporate AI enhancements to boost performance based on user habits.
Cameras
The Oppo Find X8s and Find X8s+ come with a triple-camera system, featuring a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) (24mm) and a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 120° field of view (15mm). The Find X8s includes an 85mm equivalent telephoto camera with an f/2.6 aperture and dual-axis OIS. In comparison, the Find X8s+ has a 73mm equivalent zoom lens with an f/2.8 aperture and dual-axis stabilization. This camera setup ensures sharp, clear images and excellent zoom capabilities for various photography needs.
Battery and Pricing
The Oppo Find X8s is powered by a 5,700 mAh battery, while the Find X8s+ features a slightly larger 6,000 mAh battery, guaranteeing both devices can last throughout the day. They support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Find X8s begins at $571 for the model featuring 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the Find X8s+ also starts at the same price for its base version. Both smartphones can be upgraded to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, with the highest configuration costing $748. However, Oppo has not yet announced when these devices will be available internationally.
