Samsung plans to launch a new smartphone called the Galaxy S25 Edge soon. Recent reports say it will be officially released on May 13. A global launch is expected about two weeks later. Leaks also shared the phone’s price and key specs. The Galaxy S25 Edge will sit between the Galaxy S25+ and the S25 Ultra in both price and features.
Interestingly, Samsung accidentally revealed the phone’s price through a mistake on its website. The Samsung Canada site listed the Galaxy S25 Edge in the Terms and Conditions section related to discounts for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet.
Leak details show the 256 GB model of the S25 Edge will cost around CAD 1,678. That’s about $1,200 USD or €1,100. The 512 GB version will be priced at CAD 1,858, roughly $1,350 or €1,200. These prices place the phone between the S25+ and the S25 Ultra, supporting earlier guesses about its market position.
The leak also shared model numbers and color options. The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected in Titanium Silver and Titanium Jet Black.
As for the specs, the phone will pack strong features. It’s believed to have the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which promises high performance. Its main camera boasts a massive 200 MP sensor. Photography fans will be eager to get it after launch.
The phone will have a very slim design, keeping with Samsung’s sleek look. But there is a catch. The leak suggests it might have a smaller battery, which could hurt battery life. Samsung has not announced any details about the battery yet.
Despite that, the Galaxy S25 Edge looks like a promising addition. It offers flagship features and a stylish look at a lower price than the S25 Ultra. It’s more advanced than the regular S25 or S25+ too.
