Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has been spotted in a video as a plastic dummy, shown alongside the Galaxy S25 Ultra to highlight the design differences. The phone is set to launch on May 13, 2025, with a slim profile of just 5.84mm. It will go on sale in South Korea on May 23 and in the US on May 30.
This model has been seen before at Galaxy Unpacked earlier this year and at Samsung’s MWC 2025 booth. Its very thin design drew plenty of attention, even if visitors couldn’t hold it. This new video offers a closer look at its appearance. The S25 Edge is only slightly shorter than the flagship S25 Ultra and is believed to be priced just below it.

Unfortunately, the camera on the S25 Edge isn’t as flexible as the Ultra or Plus models, mainly because of its slim design. It also doesn’t include a telephoto lens, unlike the new OnePlus 13T. At just 5.84mm thick, it’s Samsung’s thinnest flagship so far. This slim look comes with the trade-off of missing a zoom camera, but it’s still a sleek option for those who want a lightweight phone.

The Galaxy S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch 1440p AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, similar to the S25 models. It has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Its dual rear cameras include a 200MP main sensor and either a 12MP or 50MP ultrawide. The phone also has a 12MP front camera, supported by Galaxy AI tools like Photo Assist. Its 3,900mAh battery charges at 25W, a compromise for its slimness.
The phone will launch online on May 13. South Korea gets it first, followed by the US. Rumors suggest a price between €1,200 and €1,400 (€1,12,000 to €1,30,000). Samsung is expected to produce about 40,000 units initially to see how it sells. The S25 Edge has a titanium frame and comes in colors like Titanium Icy Blue. It looks designed for style. It remains to be seen if it will go beyond these markets. Watch for more news.
