Compared to the first trailer from December 2023, this new look has better visuals. The environments look more detailed, with realistic lighting, weather effects, and smoother character animations. These improvements show that Rockstar is using the power of new consoles to make the game look and feel more real.

GTA VI is set in Leonida, which includes a modern version of Vice City and nearby areas. The trailer shows a fresh take on Vice City without the 1980s look. Release Date and Anticipation

Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on May 26, 2026. It will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This is the first official release date, after the game was delayed from fall 2025. The extra time in development is helping Rockstar make the game more detailed and exciting.
