Redmi Pad 2 Global Launch Set for June 5, Key Specs and Pricing Confirmed

Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi Pad 2 will launch on June 5, 2025. Before its debut, the company released teaser images showing the tablet’s look and main features. The Redmi Pad 2 will have an 11-inch 2.5K IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is smaller and more media-focused than the larger Redmi Pad Pro, targeting casual users.

The company calls it a “binge buddy” and equipped it with four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. The tablet supports 4G networks and runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra chip. It will be available with up to 8GB of RAM. European listings indicate the Wi-Fi-only model has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage at a price of €199. The 4G model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs €299.

The display’s brightness peaks at 600 nits. Color options include Mint Green and Black/Grey. The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Its battery capacity is 9,000mAh, with 18W wired charging. European units will not include a charger in the box.

The Amazon India listing highlights a lightweight design, longer battery life, and a display suitable for work or play. Both the Wi-Fi-only and 4G + Wi-Fi models.

A leaked unboxing video from the Brazilian YouTube channel TukEmperial shows the tablet supports Android 15 with HyperOS. It also features a Circle to Search function, a microSD card slot, and a headphone jack. Benchmark tests give it an AnTuTu score of 400,000. It runs well on games like Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty.
