Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 launch date tipped

Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event is expected to highlight its foldable devices, and now it seems we may know the date. A new leak suggests Samsung’s 7th generation foldables will be revealed in the second week of July, likely in New York.

Tipster @evleaks shared a tentative date and time—10 AM EDT on July 9. This fits with Samsung’s typical summer launch schedule. Last year, the foldables were shown on July 10 in Paris, so an early July reveal makes sense.

Adding to the rumors, Samsung recently announced a series of Galaxy Health running events starting July 13 in New York. These could be connected to the launch of the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, which are expected to be announced during the event.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to be slimmer, possibly just 4.1mm thick when unfolded. It’s expected to feature a 200MP main camera and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 might be available with the Exynos 2500 chip in some regions.

A new model, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, may also arrive. It’s believed to be a budget option, costing around $750. It could have smaller specs like an Exynos 2400e or Exynos 2400 chip and dual 12MP cameras.

All three phones are expected to run One UI 8 based on Android 16. Expect new Galaxy AI features and better tools for creating content.

Samsung might confirm the exact launch date before June ends, just like last year. Stay tuned for updates.
