Oppo Reno 15 Pro to Feature 200MP Samsung HP5 Main Camera, 50MP Periscope lens

Oppo plans to reveal its Find X9 smartphones in October. November will likely see the brand focus on the Reno 15 series. A new leak suggests the Reno 15 Pro will be the first Reno phone with a 200-megapixel camera.

This tipster claims the Oppo Reno 15 Pro will boast a 200-megapixel main camera. It might use Samsung’s HP5 sensor. An ultra-wide lens is also expected, though not detailed in the leak. A 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with a small sensor will accompany it.

The Reno 15 Pro should come with a Dimensity 8-series chip. Since the Dimensity 8500 might arrive after the Reno 15 series, the Dimensity 8450 is probable. This chip powered the Reno 14 Pro.

Regarding design, the Reno 15 series will use Reno 14’s glass design. This design uses cold-carved glass. It’s unclear if the camera layout will be the same. The single-piece glass implies a sculpted glass back.

Recent leaks indicate the Reno 15 Pro might have a 6.8-inch OLED screen. The standard Reno 15 will feature a smaller 6.3-inch OLED display. Oppo may also bring camera tech from the Find X8 series. This could include better image sensors and color correction. The series will feature a metal frame. Wireless charging is also expected. It will run Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
