Tipster Digital Chat Station shared that Redmi, Honor, and iQOO are creating phones with the new Dimensity 8500 chip. DCS later posted on Weibo. He confirmed the battery size for Honor’s D8500 phone.
Honor’s Dimensity 8500 Phone’s battery size revealed
DCS stated Honor’s next Dimensity 8500 phone has a 10,000mAh battery. It is currently in the NPI testing phase. The phone’s final name is not yet known.
This phone entered NPI testing late in July. It has been progressing since then. Several brands are developing Dimensity 8500 phones. However, the Redmi Turbo 5 is expected first. It should be the initial phone with the D8500 chip.
This suggests Honor’s Dimensity 8500 phone might arrive in China. It could launch soon after the Redmi Turbo 5 in December. Alternatively, it might debut in January 2026. We currently know only the chipset and battery size for the Honor D8500. We hope future reports will share more details.
The Dimensity 8500 SoC is thought to be a 4nm chip from TSMC. Its CPU structure is similar to the Dimensity 8400. However, its Mali-G720 GPU should offer better gaming. The chip is predicted to score over 2 million on AnTuTu. Other Dimensity 8500 phones may be the Realme Neo 8 SE and iQOO Z11 Turbo.
