According to the source, the rumored Honor Magic 8 Mini is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display. While the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset is anticipated to be present in the Magic 8 and 8 Pro, the Dimensity 9500 SoC may be present in the Mini version.
He also said that the Honor Magic 8 Mini’s current engineering prototype is very thin despite having a big battery and all the necessary specs. As for the launch timeframe, the Magic 8 Mini is unlikely to arrive alongside the main Magic 8 series; instead, its launch is expected sometime in the first half of next year.
Honor is also working on a Dimensity 8500 phone, which is related news. While the exact moniker of the device is not known yet, it is expected to pack a huge 10,000mAh battery. Whether it will be called the Honor Power 2 or something else is unknown.
Furthermore, this week, the brand will unveil the much-anticipated Honor Magic V Flip 2 in China. Set to launch on Aug. 21, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device will feature a 5,500mAh battery, the largest ever seen on a flip phone. It is also confirmed to support 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
