Huawei has introduced a new version of its Mate XTs folding phone. It has some minor updates from last year. The phone’s look is the same. However, it has better insides and comes in purple and white.
Design and Display
The Mate XTs still fold out into a large screen. This 10.2-inch display is OLED and has sharp 3K picture quality. It refreshes at 90 times a second. The screen can get very bright, up to 1,800 nits. It also has a special shape perfect for showing three apps next to each other. You can still use a pen with it.
When folded once, the screen is 7.9 inches. When fully folded, it becomes a small 6.4-inch phone. It is thin, just 3.8mm open and 12.8mm closed. Weighing 298 grams, it’s thinner than some regular phones.
The Mate XTs is available in black, red, purple, and white.
Internals and Software
Inside, the Mate XTs uses Huawei’s new Kirin 9020 chip. This replaces the old Kirin 9010. Huawei says this chip is 36% faster. All models have 16GB of memory. You can get 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. It runs on HarmonyOS 5.1.
Cameras
Huawei improved the ultrawide camera to 40MP. It joins a 50MP main camera and a 12MP zoom camera. This camera system is better than the last one. It takes clearer ultrawide photos.
Battery
The Mate XTs has a 5,600 mAh battery. It charges with a 66W cable. It also charges at 50W wirelessly. You can even charge other devices from it at 7.5W. These charging speeds are the same as before.
Huawei Mate XTs Price in Pakistan
Pricing starts at $2,520 (PKR 715K) for the 256GB model, $2,800 (PKR794K) for the 512GB, and $3,080 (PKR 875K) for the 1TB variant. Huawei has not confirmed details about a global release.
