Realme plans to launch the Realme GT 8 series in October. The upcoming base model is already drawing interest. According to Realme Vice President Wang Wei and tipster Digital Chat Station, the device is expected to bring some Pro-level specifications to the standard version. Here’s a look at the details shared by them.

Realme GT 8 AnTuTu Score

The Realme GT 8 comes with a 2K 144Hz OLED screen, just like the GT 8 Pro. It hits 2000 nits peak brightness overall. Realme adds a 4000-nit sunlight tech that boosts up to 20% of the screen for clear outdoor views. The panel includes a new touch chip. It offers 3200Hz instant sampling and 360Hz for multiple fingers. This boosts gaming response.

For performance, it uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with a special display processor. DCS shared early tests with an AnTuTu score of 3,322,942.

The GT 8 is said to adopt a refined design with a frosted metal frame, glass back panel, and rounded R-angle corners. It is also tipped to support 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition for improved security. Other reports have revealed that it may pack a 7,000mAh battery, and the series will debut with Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is already confirmed to launch as Pakistan’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone. However, it is unclear whether the GT 8 will be released in markets outside of China.
