Realme GT 8, GT 8 Pro are launching on October 21

Realme has built excitement for the GT 8 series over few days. Realme has finally confirmed that its launch will be on October 21 in China. The series will include the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro smartphones, both powered by Snapdragon 8-series chipsets.

Realme GT 8 Pro Specs

The GT 8 Pro packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This sets it up as a tough competitor to phones like the OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, and Redmi K90 Pro. It adds an R1 graphics chip to boost gaming performance.

A key feature for the GT 8 Pro comes from Realme’s new tie-up with camera brand Ricoh. This is the first Realme phone to launch with Ricoh tech. The partnership adds five GR-style color options: Positive Film, Negative Film, High Contrast Black & White, Standard, and Black & White.

Up front, the GT 8 Pro offers a flat OLED 2K screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It should include a battery over 7,000mAh, plus 120W wired charging and wireless charging.

Rumors point to more perks like an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the screen, a metal frame, dual speakers, and an X-axis motor for better vibrations. The phone may also allow a removable camera module to improve photo options.

Besides the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the base GT 8 is set to have a 6.6-inch display and a 7,000mAh battery. It likely features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a metal frame too. The Ricoh color profiles and tweaks could appear on this model as well.
