Upcoming Mysterious Infinix X6878 phone spotted at Geekbench with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip

Infinix has relied on MediaTek processors for its phones over the past few years. This year, though, the firm released the Infinix Xpad GT with the dated Snapdragon 888 for worldwide sales. Now the company looks ready to bring out another Infinix device with a Snapdragon chip. This upcoming model uses a fresh processor that first appeared in the China-only version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+.

Infinix X6878 Geekbench listing

A screenshot points to an Infinix phone with model X6878 showing up in the Geekbench database. The device popped up earlier in Europe’s EEC approval list, but that entry offered few details.

Geekbench data shows the Infinix X6878 runs on a Snapdragon setup. It has one main core at 2.71GHz, three cores at 2.40GHz, and four at 1.80GHz. The graphics side features an Adreno 810 GPU.

The processor name stays hidden, but signs point to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. That chip launched in August. The phone earned 1,232 points in Geekbench 6.5’s single-core run and 2,882 in multi-core. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is the sole other device with this chip. It hit shelves in China last August.

The listing also notes 8GB of RAM for the Infinix X6878 and Android 16 as its OS. Details on the official name remain absent. It might turn out to be the next Infinix Zero 50 or Note Edge. Expect a reveal in November, though the target regions stay unclear.
