Galaxy S26 Series leak points with larger sensors, big battery, and display

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series has been surrounded by mixed signals for months, but a new set of leaked specs paints a much more encouraging picture.

The S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra may finally get the camera upgrades that fans have been asking for, rather than merely minor tweaks.

The 3x telephoto camera is one of the most widely reported changes. In comparison to rivals like the Vivo X300 Pro, Samsung has relied for years on a 10MP 1/3.52-inch sensor in Ultra models and an even smaller 1/3.94-inch sensor in non-Ultra models.

According to the most recent rumor, all three S26 models will switch to a much larger 12MP 1/2.55-inch sensor for the 3x telephoto, which should help capture more light and make the zoom more clear.

Although that aspect hasn’t been “confirmed” yet, the Ultra may even upgrade to a 50MP 3x sensor.

If Samsung is able to keep the Ultra’s thickness under control, it could also get a 5,400mAh battery instead of the 5,000mAh one.

Samsung’s newer M14 OLED panels with QHD resolution are said to be used in all three phones: 6.3 inches for the S26, 6.7 inches for the S26+, and 6.9 inches for the Ultra. The current Samsung S25 has a 6.2-inch 1080p display for comparison.

Te S26 and S26+ are also said to be getting significant camera upgrades. The 50MP main camera may utilize a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor, which is the same size as the S25 Ultra’s 200MP sensor, and both may finally get a 50MP ultrawide (up from 12MP).

The Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will power the lineup, and performance will differ depending on the region. Even the Ultra may ship with Exynos in some markets this year.

One wild card remains: a slim “S26 More Slim” model with a 6.6-inch QHD display, dual 50MP cameras, paired with an unspecified telephoto, and a ~4,300mAh battery. Although its status is unknown,

it is said to avoid major compromises in comparison to the canceled S26 Edge.

These alterations, if true, suggest that the S26 series may be a significantly improved and more cohesive lineup than the initial leaks suggested.
