If you’re still not tired of reading Samsung Galaxy S26 series leaks over the past couple of weeks, there’s more news to unpack today.
A new leak from X (formerly Twitter) user Yawn has revealed the full camera specs of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, and unfortunately, Samsung isn’t making any big changes.
The rumor says that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have the same camera setup as the S25 Ultra, with a 200-megapixel HP2 main sensor at the top.
According to reports, Samsung will continue to use a 50-megapixel JN3 ultrawide camera, a 50-megapixel IMX854 5x periscope telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel IMX874 selfie camera in conjunction with it.
A solitary camera upgrade for S26 Ultra
The 3x telephoto lens appears to be the only real change this time around. A more recent 12MP Samsung S5K3LD sensor is reportedly being used in place of the previous Ultra’s 10MP sensor.
The device will also support Samsung’s new video recording format, APV (Advanced Photo Video), in two formats, according to the leak. According to reports, the APV HQ uses 1.5GB of storage per minute, whereas the APV LQ uses 750MB per minute.
The leak aligns well with another report from September. Despite the fact that that was an earlier report, the fact that the new information matches suggests that Samsung may not be very interested in altering its hardware..

It is said that the new telephoto has a f/2.4 aperture and 20% more pixels than the S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, a 5,500mAh battery, and support for 60W of charging.
It might also come with Qi2 wireless charging, which opens the world of MagSafe-like magnetic accessories to Android phones. Additionally, the phone is said to be slightly larger, thinner, and rounder than its predecessor.
