According to a renowned source, Digital Chat Station, the next OnePlus 15T is anticipated to launch on the same day as its predecessor. The next model is supposedly scheduled to make a similar April debut in China as the OnePlus 13T, which was introduced in April of last year.
As of right now, neither the phone’s availability outside of China nor its potential overseas markets has been confirmed.
Battery Capacity Set for a Major Jump
A much larger battery is one of the most noteworthy improvements anticipated for the OnePlus 15T. OnePlus is purportedly trying to push capacity as high as 7,500mAh, while the handset is claimed to have a 7,000mAh battery.
The OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13s, which debuted in India with a lesser 5,850mAh battery compared to the 6,260mAh cell in the Chinese variant, may resemble the earlier China-India divide.
Display and Biometric Changes

A 6.3-inch flat LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution is expected to be included in the OnePlus 15T. The new model is expected to provide a higher refresh rate of 165Hz, in contrast to the 13T’s 120Hz LTPO display. An upgrade to an ultrasonic fingerprint reader is another piece of hardware.
Performance and Build Details
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset is anticipated to power the handset; OnePlus apparently chose the complete Elite model over a non-Elite version. Additionally, the phone is believed to have an IP68 grade for water and dust protection.

Additionally, a magnetic snap-on case is anticipated to be available from OnePlus. This magnetic system, like the 13T and 13s, is intended for accessories rather than wireless charging, which is still not available.
Camera Setup Likely Unchanged
Upgrades to the camera seem to be limited. The 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor from the previous edition is reportedly still present in the telephoto camera. The main camera’s characteristics have not been revealed, and there is no sign that a third back camera will be installed.
Market Availability Still Unclear
Compared to the earlier compact models, it is yet unclear if the OnePlus 15T or a regional version of it will be more widely available worldwide.
It is anticipated to directly compete with forthcoming products like the Xiaomi 17 Pro, Vivo X300, and Oppo Find X9s if it ventures outside of China. This portion may no longer include the previously speculated iQOO 15 mini.
