Samsung plans to launch a cheaper version of its foldable phone called the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The device has reportedly started production and was listed in China’s 3C certification database, which confirms it is real. Now, the phone has appeared in a benchmark test with the model number SM-F761N.

The benchmark listing reveals some hardware details but doesn’t clear up which processor Samsung will use. The test shows the Flip 7 FE’s motherboard code as s5e9945. This points to it running on the Exynos 2400 chip.
The processor is said to have one core at 3.21GHz, two cores at 2.90GHz, three more at 2.59GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.96GHz. The graphics are handled by an Xclipse 940 GPU. This suggests the phone likely has the Exynos 2400.

The phone tested has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16, which Google is expected to officially announce soon. In the benchmark, it scored 1,930 for single-core and 6,276 for multi-core performance.
There is still confusion about which chipset the FE version will have. While Geekbench points to the Exynos 2400, earlier reports suggested it could be an Exynos 2400e or even an unreleased Exynos 2500.
Another report earlier today even claims the 7 FE might not have an Exynos chip at all.
These leaks may not be accurate. It’s best to take all this info with caution. Aside from the benchmark, the 3C listing shows the device will support 25W fast charging.
