Google Pixel 10 Series could Launch much earlier than its Predecessor, suggests Pixel Superfans invite

Rumors about an earlier debut for the Pixel 10 series have been circulating. Now, an exclusive invite to a Pixel Superfans event in London hints that the new phones could arrive before the Pixel 9’s August 2024 launch. With Android 16 also moving quickly, the buzz is growing.

Android Authority reports Google has invited Pixel Superfans to a 90-minute “Pixel Penthouse” event on June 27, 2025, in London. Twenty-five lucky attendees will get a chance to try out unreleased Pixel devices and features. The invite doesn’t name the Pixel 10 line, but it’s clear they are the main focus, since no other major Pixel products are expected soon.

This event, called Google’s “exclusive pre-launch” for 2025, suggests the Pixel 10 series—likely including the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold—could be launched as early as late June or early July. That’s a shift from the usual August release with the Pixel 9.

The quick timeline for Android 16 adds to the rumors. Google has confirmed a stable version will be ready by the end of June 2025. This is faster than Android 15’s rollout. It matches the idea of a July launch for the Pixel 10 series. The new phones are expected to feature an updated OS and a TSMC-built Tensor G5 chip on a 3nm process for better speed and lower power use. The Superfans event will include Q&A sessions with Google staff and Pixel-themed gifts, fueling expectations.

Google has changed its launch schedule lately. Last year, the Pixel 9 arrived in August, not October. The Pixel 9a launched in March 2025. Launching the Pixel 10 early could help Google beat Apple’s iPhone 17 in September and Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July. While the June 27 event might be just a preview, the early look indicates Google is ready to move faster this time.
