Google Pixel 10a certification reveals key specifications well before launch

Google is reportedly working on a mid-range phone called the Google Pixel 10a. A new leak has provided an early look at the device’s anticipated hardware, despite the fact that its release is still months away. Here’s a look at what to expect from the next Pixel phone.

Google Pixel 10a key specifications revealed

The upcoming Google Pixel 10a has been listed in Verizon’s certification database, according to a listing shared by a well-known leaker named Evan Blass. This listing gives hints at several important specifications. A 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that can switch between 60Hz and 120Hz is mentioned in the document.

Additionally, it mentions 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5,100mAh battery, placing the phone in a very similar configuration to the Pixel 9a.

A 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel front camera in the setup described in the listing continue this trend.

Previous reports claim that Google may again opt for the Tensor G4 chipset, which powered the Pixel 9a. The Pixel 10a may not receive many of the latest AI features introduced in the Pixel 10 series if this remains unchanged.

However, there is a possibility that Google will use the more recent Exynos 5400 modem to address previous concerns regarding heating and battery consumption.

There have been murmurs of a brighter display that could reach around 2,000 nits, though this is yet to be confirmed. Aside from that, a lot of the hardware is looking like the one before it.

Certification also describes the phone, which goes by the codename STA5, as a device designed to provide a relatively accessible version of Google’s AI experience.

Before the Pixel 10a is officially revealed, additional leaks are anticipated to clarify whether Google will introduce any significant upgrades.
