Infinix has launched the Note 50 Pro+ 5G, which features a design similar to its 4G sibling. This smartphone comes with a digital assistant named Folax for recognizing on-screen content, translating languages, and performing various AI tasks.
However, the highlight features of this device for cheap. The phone has a powerful chip, a solid camera setup, and more in less than $400.
Design and Display
The device features a metal frame and a vibrant 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate, complete with an under-display fingerprint scanner. It is available in three attractive colors: Titanium Gray, Enchanted Purple, and a Racing Edition that showcases unique graphics on the back. Infinix has also introduced two AI-centric accessories—an AI Ring and AI Buds—though specific information about these products is still scarce.
Internals and Software
The Note 50 Pro+ has the powerful 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The device operates on XOS 15, which is based on Android 15. It includes Infinix’s “Infinix Infinity” (AI∞) suite, featuring an AI assistant named Folax, real-time call translation, AI-driven photo editing tools, and the Xboost AI Game engine to enhance gaming performance.
Cameras
On the rear, there is a triple-camera system, highlighted by a 50 MP main sensor and a 3x telephoto camera equipped with the rare Sony IMX896 sensor for this price range. Additionally, a sensor is included to monitor blood oxygen levels and heart rate. AI capabilities further enhance photography modes and image editing features.
Battery and Pricing
The Note 50 Pro+ features a 5,200 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, reaching full charge in around 32 minutes. It also offers 50W MagCharge wireless charging with magnetic alignment, along with 10W wired and 7.5W wireless reverse charging.
This phone is available exclusively in a 12 GB/256 GB variant and is priced at $370. However, Infinix has not yet provided details regarding the release dates or regions.
