Infinix’s New Gaming Phone Has Liquid Cooling and Modular Parts

Along with intentions to provide satellite communication capabilities to the Note 60 series later this year, Infinix has revealed a number of new hardware innovations. A redesigned visual back panel, a magnetic accessory ecosystem, gaming attachments, and a new active liquid cooling system are among the announcements.

HydroFlow Active Liquid Cooling System

HydroFlow, a novel active cooling technology, is the focal point of Infinix’s announcement. The technology is based on what the business claims is the first Dual Piezoelectric Ceramic Single Pump in the industry and uses liquid cooling.

The pump pushes a fluorinated liquid through cooling channels at up to 6.5 milliliters per minute by using electric current to cause high-frequency deformation in piezoelectric ceramics.

According to Infinix, this flow velocity is twice as quick as that of traditional active liquid cooling systems. The manufacturer claims that in order to increase cooling precision and efficiency, the liquid channels cover all of the mainboard’s major heat sources.

Infinix also unveiled a bladeless piezoelectric fan for smartphones to further improve thermal performance. A 0.1mm ultra-thin vibrating sheet that pulses 25,000 times per second powers the fan.

According to Infinix, this produces a high-pressure air jet that dissipates more than ten times as much heat as conventional rotating fans. The fan can run with very little noise because of its solid-state architecture.

Additionally, Infinix stated that it is developing a full-chamber immersive cooling solution, which is a next-stage cooling design. This method improves heat transfer by putting the liquid in direct contact with important interior components.

Active Visual Backplate and Smart Materials

At CES, Infinix demonstrated Active Visual Backplate technology, continuing its exploration into dynamic smartphone designs. By manipulating reflected light using optical microstructures, the technique enables the phone’s back panel to vary its look based on the viewing angle and environmental factors.

Users can see changing colors, moving patterns, or 3D-style visual effects on the back cover by spinning the device. Additionally, Infinix is integrating this technology with intelligent materials such as starry photochromic leather and bistable thermochromatic ink. Due to these materials, the back panel’s color and pattern can change in response to light and temperature.

The design is paired with a monolithic, cold-carved polymer structure that integrates the camera module directly into the rear panel, resulting in a smoother surface.

Gaming Controller and Input Accessories

Additionally, Infinix unveiled the first split gaming controller in the industry. The controller is made to provide ultra-low-latency input and has a sizable pressure-sensitive touchpad. The company also disclosed wireless magnetic triggers that utilize micro-switches similar to those founding computer mice.

ModuVerse Magnetic Accessory Ecosystem

Additionally, Infinix revealed ModuVerse, a brand-new magnetic accessory platform. The ecosystem connects accessories to compatible smartphones directly via a single magnetic interface.

There were five highlighted accessories. These include the Mic Modu for noise reduction, the SportsCam Modu with anti-shake support that is magnetically attached, the Meeting Modu with integrated note generation and translation, the StackPower Modu for extra battery life, and the VlogCam Modu with AI-based subject tracking and gesture control.
