Iran Claims to Hit Israel’s Spy Agency Mossad Headquarters

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for a missile attack on a key Mossad intelligence center in Tel Aviv early on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The report comes from Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency.

The IRGC stated that units from the Aerospace Force carried out the strike, targeting the headquarters of Israel’s Mossad spy agency. The attack was carried out despite Israel’s advanced air defense systems.

The statement also said the missile hit the Israeli military’s intelligence agency, known as AMAN. This agency, along with Mossad, handles the planning of covert operations and attacks. The IRGC claimed the Mossad center is now completely in flames.

This strike follows a series of Iranian retaliatory attacks that began on June 13. Iran started its strikes after Israel launched airstrikes on its nuclear sites, military bases, and residential areas. Reports indicate these Israeli attacks caused heavy damage, killing senior officers, nuclear experts, and many civilians, including 45 women and children.
