Nubia has officially revealed that its Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition will be launched on April 28. The announcement was made through the brand’s Weibo account, showcasing a design focused on photography and a fully immersive display. This device will debut alongside an undisclosed product at the Nubia AI Dual Flagship New Product Launch event.
Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition’s Design Revealed

The design of the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition draws inspiration from classic cameras, featuring a distinctive red-ring accent around the camera module and a Neovision-branded emblem to highlight its photographic capabilities.
On the back, the design cleverly distinguishes between the main and auxiliary lenses with a stylish dividing line. It houses a new 35mm large sensor primary camera on top and a periscope telephoto lens with an ultra-wide option below. The rear panel is crafted from a leather-like material that mimics calfskin, enhancing both grip and aesthetic appeal.
What truly distinguishes this phone from other flagship models is its 1.5K true full-screen display, making it the only Ultra-series device this year to incorporate an under-display camera. Nubia employs a blue diamond pixel arrangement along with FIAA compression wiring technology to achieve a higher screen-to-body ratio. Coupled with its specialized UDC Ultra chip, this display promises vibrant visuals and improved front camera performance.

The 35mm main sensor is said to compete with the size of typical 1-inch sensors, providing excellent light capture and enhanced low-light capabilities. Nubia has also presented sample images that demonstrate effective glare control and clear, noise-free details, reinforcing its title as the new “Night Vision King.” In terms of performance, the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
Additionally, Nubia plans to surprise attendees with the unveiling of a new, mysterious product at the same event, which is speculated to be the brand’s first tablet.
