Oppo A6 Max quitely launches in China with a massive 7000mAh battery and IP69 durability

Oppo has released a new mid-range phone in China. It’s called the Oppo A6 Max. The phone is quite slim at just 7.7mm. It surprisingly includes a huge 7,000mAh battery.

Oppo A6 Max Specifications

This phone charges at 80W. Oppo states this can get the battery to 50 percent in only 24 minutes. Despite its large battery, it only weighs 198 grams.

The A6 Max features a 6.8-inch OLED screen. It has a high resolution of 2800 × 1280. The display also refreshes at 120Hz. It can get very bright, reaching 1,600 nits. You can even use it with wet hands. Oppo uses its own Crystal Shield Glass for screen protection.

For cameras, there’s a 32MP front camera. The back has two cameras. The main one is 50MP. A simple 2MP monochrome camera is also included. The phone comes in two colors. Streamer White has a glass back. Rock Mist Blue has a fiberglass back.

Inside, the A6 Max uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. It has 8GB of RAM. Storage is 256GB. Oppo added a 5,200mm² vapor chamber. This helps keep the phone cool for steady performance.

The phone also has an Oppo enhanced communication chip. This improves signal reliability. It also offers dual-band GPS. There’s triple-band Beidou and NFC too. It even supports offline communication.

What truly sets this phone apart is its toughness. The A6 Max has IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. This means it resists dust and water. It can handle high-pressure water jets and tough outdoor settings.

Oppo says the phone passed SGS tests for high-temperature use. It also has extra-loud speakers. They can boost volume by up to 300 percent. These are great for outdoor listening.

OPPO A6 Max Price and Availability

The Oppo A6 Max (8GB + 256GB) is available now in China for 1,599 yuan (around $220). Oppo hasn’t confirmed whether the phone will launch internationally.
