Oppo has officially announced that the Find X8 Ultra is set to be released in April, which is a slight delay from earlier speculations that indicated a March launch. Zhou Yibao, the product manager for Oppo’s Find series, conveyed this information, confirming that the device will be available for purchase within the same month.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra Unique Flat-Display
Zhou has indicated that the Find X8 Ultra may be the sole Ultra smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer this year to feature a flat display. Although he did not provide specific information, he hinted that the device will possess the “narrowest” characteristic globally, likely alluding to exceptionally thin bezels.
According to leaks, the smartphone is expected to include a 6.82-inch 2K OLED display produced by BOE, a main camera of 1-inch size, and two periscope telephoto lenses in addition to an ultrawide sensor. If these speculations are accurate, the Find X8 Ultra could represent a significant advancement in mobile photography.

Oppo’s Ultra-Thin Small-Screen Flagship
Oppo is set to introduce another device alongside the Find X8 Ultra, referred to as an “ultra-thin small-screen flagship Find.” This device is anticipated to be the Find X8 Next, which was previously speculated to be the Find X8 Mini.
The Find X8 Next is projected to have a thickness ranging from 7mm to 7.99mm, reflecting Oppo’s strategic branding evolution. This initiative indicates that Oppo intends to position the device as a formidable rival to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone 17 Air, both of which are recognized for their elegant designs and high-performance capabilities, as suggested by recent leaks.
