Oppo Find N5, Find X8 Ultra Tipped to Feature Telephoto Macro Lens

Oppo Find N5 set to launch in February, is one of the most anticipated foldable smartphones of the year. It is being promoted as the thinnest foldable phone globally and it will also be the first foldable to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Additionally, the company is anticipated to launch the Find X8 Ultra in March in China. Recent information leaked on Weibo indicates that both the Find N5 and Find X8 Ultra, which are already rumored to include a periscope telephoto camera, will also offer macro shooting functionalities.

Oppo Find N5, X8 Ultra may have a Telephoto Macro Camera

According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Oppo Find N5 will feature customized ultra-thin flat displays on both the inner and outer screens for a slimmer design. Additionally, both the Find N5 and the upcoming Find X8 Ultra are expected to include a telephoto macro camera.

According to reports, the Oppo Find N5 will have a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto. The X8 Ultra is equipped with four 50 MP cameras, potentially possibly a one-inch main camera, an ultra-wide lens, a 3x periscope telephoto, and a 6x periscope telephoto camera.

The Find X8 and X8 Pro, which are currently available in the market, are powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset. The upcoming Ultra model is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. In addition to the Find X8 Ultra, the Find X8 Mini, which is also powered by Dimensity 9400 chip, is expected to be released in March in China.

According to other reports, the brand is reportedly working on the Find X8S, which may launch with the new Dimensity 9400+ chip in the second quarter of this year. Both the Find X8 Ultra and X8S will likely be exclusive to the Chinese market.
