Oppo is said to be preparing for the launch of its upcoming Reno 14 series, anticipated in mid-2025, with the Reno 14 Pro set to offer premium features aimed at the mid-range smartphone segment.
Recent leaks suggest that the device will feature a Quick Button dedicated to camera functionalities, akin to Apple’s Camera Control button. This feature is expected to be a significant selling point for the device. The Reno 14 Pro is projected to debut around June 2025.
Rumored Specifications and Features
Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has indicated that Oppo intends to incorporate several high-end features into its upcoming model, including a 3D single-point ultrasonic fingerprint reader and 0809 haptics, which will enhance the tactile experience. These enhancements will build upon the already established premium attributes, such as IP68/69 ratings for water and dust resistance, along with metallic mid-frames.

The Reno 14 Pro is also anticipated to showcase a 1.5K AMOLED display and a robust MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, an upgrade from the Dimensity 8300. In terms of photography, the device is expected to feature a triple rear camera configuration, highlighted by a 50MP setup that includes a Sony IMX882/ISOCELL JN5 sensor for 3x periscope telephoto capabilities, as well as Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors for mid-range shooting.
A notable addition to the Reno 14 Pro may be Oppo’s Quick Button, a capacitive-style button first introduced in the Find X8 series, designed to facilitate rapid access to camera functionalities. This button could also function as a shortcut for various other features, streamlining certain tasks.
Reports suggest that these enhancements might also be applied to other Oppo sub-flagship models, including the successors to the K12 series, OnePlus Ace 3V, and potentially the Nord 4. As mid-2025 approaches, further information regarding the Reno 14 Pro and its related models is expected to surface.
