Oppo India has stated that the Reno 15 series will arrive in India on January 8. The Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini are part of the new lineup, which focuses on AI-assisted photography and video and is aimed at customers who regularly take portraits, travel sceneries, and social media material while on the road.
Oppo Reno 15 series’ camera details confirmed
The 200-megapixel ultra-clear primary camera of the Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G is designed to capture great detail in a variety of settings.
Here, Oppo’s PureTone Technology is crucial since it balances the subject with surrounding color and light rather than forcibly separating faces. Even when lighting conditions change, the goal is to maintain crisp, vibrant visuals without making them appear manufactured.
A 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto portrait camera, which is similar to the traditional 85mm focal length, supports the primary sensor. This lens is appropriate for both distant scenes and portraits because it gently compresses the background while preserving the natural proportions of the face.
The arrangement is completed by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view, which can capture group images, landscapes, and architecture while maintaining uniform exposure and color throughout the frame. Face-aware processing, which sharpens each subject separately, is also beneficial for group shots.

In addition to still photography, all of the Reno 15 Pro models’ cameras—including telephoto and front-facing ones—support 4K HDR video capture at up to 60 frames per second.
This enables photographers to change focal lengths in the middle of a shot without noticeable color or exposure shifts. The purpose of features like improved stabilization, dual-view recording, and multi-output capture is to increase the dependability of handheld shooting.
AI Editor 3.0, which comes with tools like AI Portrait Glow and motion-based editing features that aid in photo refinement after capture, is another addition to the Reno 15 series.
Without using third-party apps, innovative solutions like Popout create depth-driven effects. Many of these AI functions are carried over to the regular Reno 15 5G, improving accessibility throughout the lineup.
