By the end of 2025, Airlink Communication intends to open Pakistan’s first official Apple retail location.
The announcement was made during the company’s latest corporate briefing session, attended by Topline Securities.
The report says that the Apple store will be in the Dolmen Mall in Lahore and will work with a Xiaomi store.
This comes on the heels of Airlink’s appointment as Apple’s premium partner in Pakistan in September of last year. Airlink was selected by GNEXT Technologies, Apple’s authorized distributor in the nation, to support the expansion of structured retail access to Apple’s product line.
Airlink stated at the time of the appointment that the partnership would make it easier for customers to buy Apple products through official retail channels, including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories.
In a related update, Air Link also revealed during its briefing that it expects to receive a shipment of 10,000 Acer laptops by November. These completely built units (CBUs) will serve as part of a pilot project, with plans to begin local manufacturing if the rollout proves successful.
According to Topline, the company is also working to acquire another mobile phone brand for local manufacturing and distribution. However, no formal agreement has yet been reached.
