Pakistan Launches GO AI Hub in Islamabad to Boost Data Center Development and Tech Growth

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have teamed up to open the GO AI Hub in Islamabad. This move aims to speed up digital changes, strengthen AI skills, and draw in worldwide funds. The hub should help grow Pakistan’s tech field. It will invite new ideas, train skilled workers, and let the country join the world AI race.

This project comes from top talks under the SIFC setup. It follows the Prime Minister’s latest trip to Riyadh. The deals signed cover data centers and AI setups, the start of the GO Talent Hub, and the rollout of the GO AI Hub in Pakistan.

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoIT&T), Saudi Arabia’s GO Telecom (Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Company), and the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) worked together on the launch. SIFC leads key investment ties with Saudi Arabia.

At the opening event, Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja joined in. So did CEO of GO Telecom Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour, top SIFC leaders, and folks from Pakistan’s tech groups. Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour, CEO of GO Telecom, restated his firm’s strong pledge to Pakistan’s digital progress.
