The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has started issuing licenses to Virtual Private Network (VPN) service providers under the Class License for Data Services in Pakistan.
So far, the PTA has awarded Class Licenses to three companies to offer VPN services.
VPN service providers that are currently operating without a license are encouraged to secure the necessary Class License as soon as possible to align with the current regulatory requirements. Obtaining the license on time will help avoid any potential service interruptions and guarantee continuous access for their users.
