They told the National Assembly that the PTA’s job is clear. Section 37 of PECA 2016 guides them. PTA can only remove or block illegal online content. The Authority usually acts on complaints.

Following these complaints, PTA has blocked 184 betting and gambling sites. PTA cannot arrest people involved. That is outside their duty.
