Realme has expanded its 14 Pro lineup with the addition of the Realme 14 Pro Lite, joining the earlier releases of the Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+. Although it features the “Pro” label, the Pro Lite is positioned as a more budget-friendly option.
Design and Display
The Realme 14 Pro Lite features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 2,000 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. It is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 7i, providing solid protection against scratches and minor falls.
Available in elegant Glass Gold and Glass Purple hues, this phone exudes a premium feel while remaining budget-friendly. However, it’s worth noting that, unlike the Realme 14 Pro, which features an IP68/69 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, the Pro Lite has an IP65 rating, making it less equipped to handle extreme conditions.
Performance and Software
The Realme 14 Pro Lite is driven by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, delivering solid performance for daily activities and gaming. It features 8GB of RAM and offers storage options of up to 256GB, ensuring plenty of room for your apps and media.
However, a drawback is that while the Realme 14 Pro and Pro+ come with the latest Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, the Pro Lite is limited to Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, which means it misses out on the newest software enhancements and features right from the start.
Camera
The 14 Pro Lite features an impressive 50MP main camera sensor (Sony LYT-600) with optical image stabilization. It also includes an 8MP ultrawide camera that offers a 112° field of view, along with a 32MP front-facing camera perfect for capturing stunning selfies and making video calls. While this camera arrangement provides a range of photography options, it lacks the advanced zoom functions available in the Pro+ version.
Battery
The device is powered by a 5,200mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, just like the 14 Pro, although it has a smaller battery compared to the Pro’s 6,000mAh capacity.
Pricing
The Realme 14 Pro Lite is available in 8GB/128GB version and is priced at PKR 69,999 ($250/€240), and the 8GB/256GB model is available for PKR 76,999 ($275/€260).
