After details of the Realme 16 Pro surfaced recently, attention has now shifted to the higher-end Realme 16 Pro+. The smartphone, believed to be the Chinese variant of the Pro+ model, has appeared on the TENAA certification platform with model number RMX5130, revealing several of its key specifications ahead of an official announcement.
Although Realme has not yet specified a launch date, the listing clearly demonstrates the potential hardware of the Pro+.

As per the TENAA database, the Realme 16 Pro+ measures 162.45 x 76.27 x 8.49mm and weighs 203 grams, suggesting a slightly bulkier build compared to the standard Pro model.
The device is listed with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display featuring a resolution of 2800 x 1280 pixels and a colour depth of over one billion colours. Although the refresh rate has not been specified, it is anticipated to be promoted as a panel with a high refresh rate in keeping with the Pro+ brand.
The Realme 16 Pro+ is shown to have a quad-camera setup for imaging purposes. This supports up to 3.5x optical zoom and has a primary sensor with 200 megapixels, an ultra-wide camera with 8 megapixels, and another sensor with 50 megapixels. It says that the front camera has 50 megapixels.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz, although the exact chipset name is not mentioned. It is powered by a tweaked version of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 according to a recent Geekbench listing.

Realme UI 7 is layered over Android 16, which powers it. It is anticipated to receive four security updates and three OS upgrades globally. On TENAA, you can choose from 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB RAM, as well as 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
The Realme 16 Pro+ is listed as having a battery capacity of 6,850mAh by TENAA, which could be equivalent to close to 7,000mAh on average. As per other reports, it may support 80W fast charging.
Other features revealed through the TENAA listing include an in-screen fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster.
