Realme is all set to unveil the Realme 16 series of smartphones in January 2026. The rumor mill is actively disseminating information about the new lineup despite the growing interest in it.
Recently, the Realme 16 Pro was spotted on Geekbench with the Dimensity 7300 chip. Now, the Realme 16 Pro+ has reportedly surfaced on the same benchmarking platform, revealing its chipset, RAM, and OS.
Realme 16 Pro+ Geekbench listing
Reports have revealed that the RMX5131 model number belongs to the upcoming Realme 16 Pro+, and the same device has now appeared on Geekbench. The official claim made by the company is that the Snapdragon 16 Pro+ has a chip that is stronger than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
The Realme 16 Pro+ Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by a Qualcomm chip that includes a prime core clocked at 2.80GHz, three cores operating at 1.84GHz, and four cores running at 2.80GHz. Additionally, the Adreno 722 GPU is mentioned in the metadata of the Geekbench listing.
Interestingly, the above chip details are an exact match with the specifications of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. This suggests that the Realme 16 Pro+ chip may, with some modifications, be the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip.
The listing further reveals that the Realme 16 Pro+ has 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16. The company has already confirmed that the device will feature the Realme UI 7 skin on top of the Android OS. It has also revealed that the Pro series will receive three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
Realme has already revealed the Realme 16 Pro series and its collaboration with popular designer Naoto Fukasawa. Color options for the entire series include Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple. The Realme Buds Air 8 will be announced alongside the 16 Pro series, available in Master Gold, Master Grey, and Master Purple.
