Realme, the global smartphone brand, has once again shown its technological strength. On May 23, 2025, during the “Endless Power Journey” cruise event in Europe, realme’s new flagship, the GT 7, set a Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Watching Films on a mobile. The device played movies continuously for 24 hours, passing the challenge with ease. This achievement not only proved its durability but also set a new benchmark for smartphone battery life. Guinness World Records officially approved the record.

The event’s Guinness livestream started in Rome, Italy, with the main setup in Shenzhen, China. The record attempt began at 6:00 PM on May 22 and kept going for a full 24 hours. On May 23 at 6:00 PM, the attempt was completed successfully. Guinness World Records confirmed the record on the spot.

The GT 7 is a major release from realme’s 2025 lineup. It combines a powerful 7000mAh Titan Battery with a 120W Ultra charge, earning TÜV Rheinland 5-Star Battery Certification. With this record-setting achievement, the GT 7 now has more proof of its high-tech status, strengthening its reputation as a leader in battery tech.
