Realme has officially announced the launch of its upcoming flagship device, the Realme GT 7, scheduled for April 23 at 16:00 (China time). This news was shared via the brand’s Weibo account, suggesting that the phone will be competitively priced while delivering excellent performance. Notable tipster Digital Chat Station, along with company executives, has revealed intriguing information about the phone’s chipset, battery, and display features.
Realme GT 7 Specifications and Features
The Realme GT 7 will be the first smartphone to utilize MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is manufactured using an advanced 3nm process and boasts a high-performance CPU setup. Reports indicate that it will also come equipped with a 144Hz flat OLED eye-care display from BOE, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP68/IP69-rated body for enhanced water and dust protection.

One of the standout features is its impressive 7,000mAh+ battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, all housed in a sleek design measuring under 8.3mm thick and weighing less than 205 grams. Despite its lightweight construction, Realme has integrated advanced thermal management with “Ice Skin” graphene cooling technology, which is said to provide six times better heat dissipation compared to standard glass. The device will feature a plastic mid-frame to maintain its slim and lightweight profile.
On the camera front, the GT 7 is expected to include a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). With this combination of power, design, and battery life, the Realme GT 7 aims to redefine the standards for flagship smartphones at a competitive price point.
Realme GT 7 Price
The Oppo Find X8s series debuted with the same chipset at a starting price of 4,199 Yuan ($575). However, Realme has teased the GT 7 at under 3,000 Yuan ($410), making it one of the most competitively priced performance flagships in 2024.
