RedMagic 10 Air Launches as the Thinnest Full-Screen Gaming Phone, Specs & Price

Nubia has launched the Red Magic 10 Air in China, a smartphone designed specifically for gaming, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and LPDDR5X RAM. It boasts advanced cooling technology, AI enhancements, shoulder triggers, and includes the Red Magic Cooler 6 Pro to improve thermal efficiency. Let’s dive into its complete specifications.

Red Magic 10 Air Specifications

The Red Magic 10 Air features a 6.8-inch BOE OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 93.7% screen-to-body ratio. It achieves a peak brightness of 1600 nits, supports 10-bit color, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and incorporates 2160Hz PWM and DC dimming.

For gamers, it provides an ultra-responsive 2000Hz touch sampling rate with Magic Touch technology, enhancing responsiveness by 20%. At a slim 7.85mm, it is the thinnest full-screen gaming phone from the brand, designed with symmetrical weight distribution and flat 2.5D edges for improved handling.

Internally, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, complemented by a custom Red Core R3 chip. This additional chip optimizes in-game performance by dynamically adjusting audio, vibration, and lighting based on user settings. Users can select configurations with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and quick loading times.

To manage heat during intense gaming sessions, the Red Magic 10 Air features the enhanced “Composite Liquid Metal 2.0” cooling system. This system includes a large 3D vapor chamber, high-conductivity graphite layers, and phase-change materials that efficiently dissipate heat from the core components. Nubia claims this setup offers “gaming laptop-level” heat management, further enhanced by the external Red Magic Cooler 6 Pro, which attaches magnetically for continuous cooling during extended play.

The Red Magic 10 Air operates on Red Magic OS 10, based on Android 15, and includes a gaming-centric user interface along with AI-driven features such as Red Magic, DeepSeek, Crosshair Assist, Recon Mode, Motion Control, and Buff Trigger to elevate the gaming experience.

In the camera section, the Red Magic 10 Air features a dual rear camera system with two 50MP sensors: one standard wide and one ultra-wide. For selfies, it has a 16MP under-display camera equipped with Portrait Algorithm 4.0, providing a seamless full-screen experience free from notches or cutouts.

The device is powered by a robust 6000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, allowing it to reach a full charge in just 35 minutes. Additionally, it offers bypass charging to minimize heat during gaming while connected to power, which helps maintain battery health and performance over time.

This phone is equipped with stereo speakers, X-axis haptics, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, NFC, and USB-C. Gamers will appreciate the 520Hz dual-IC shoulder triggers that provide millisecond-level response times, along with a sweat-proof coating.
