RedMagic 11 Pro Series Shows How Powerful Gaming Phones Can Be in 2025

Nubia just released the RedMagic 11 Pro and RedMagic 11 Pro+ in China. These are the company’s top gaming phones. They compete head-on with Asus’s newest ROG Phone models. Like other gaming phones in 2025, they pack strong hardware. They have smart cooling tech. Their look screams “gaming device.”

Design and Display

The RedMagic 11 Pro series features a bold and futuristic looking design with sharp lines and minimal bezels, measuring only 1.25mm thin. Both models come with a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED display that delivers a 1.5K resolution and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel even integrates an under-display front camera, allowing for an uninterrupted viewing experience and a high 95.3% screen-to-body ratio.

In terms of physical build, both phones are 8.9mm thick and weigh 230 grams. The standard RedMagic 11 Pro is available in Dark Knight and Silver Winged War God finishes. The RedMagic 11 Pro+ comes in three options: a regular Dark Knight variant and two transparent editions called Transparent Silver Wing and Transparent Dark Knight. The transparent models also include customizable LED lighting on the rear panel.

Internals and Software

At the heart, both run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite chip. They pair it with Nubia’s own R4 gaming processor. This combo handles high frame rates. It manages heat well during tough tasks. RAM and storage differ by version. Options reach 24GB LPDDR5T RAM. They go up to 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage. That makes them some of the strongest Android phones out there.

For long play sessions, both have a built-in fan for active cooling. They include a liquid metal VC chamber too. The Pro+ steps it up with a pulsing water cooling system. This rare feature in phones boosts heat removal. It should keep things cooler overall.

The devices use RedMagic OS 11. It builds on Android with tools for gamers. It adds AI boosts for better performance.

Cameras

Camera hardware remains consistent across both models. On the rear, the devices feature a dual-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultrawide lens. On the front, a 16MP camera sits beneath the display, allowing for a full-screen layout without a punch-hole or notch. While photography is not the main focus of the RedMagic 11 series, the configuration ensures capable performance for casual users.

Battery and Pricing

The RedMagic 11 Pro has a big 8,000 mAh battery. It supports 80W fast wired charging. The Pro+ battery is 7,500 mAh. Yet it offers 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. This gives quick recharges and easy options.

Prices start low for the RedMagic 11 Pro. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs about $700. The 16GB and 512GB version runs $800. For the Pro+, the 12GB and 256GB in Dark Knight is $800. The clear 16GB and 512GB edition hits $910. The high-end clear Silver Wing with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage is $1,080.
