Redmi K80 Ultra Leak Reveals New Round Camera Module, 7500mAh Battery, 100W Charging, and More

A new leak has surfaced regarding the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra. Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared fresh details about the device, particularly highlighting changes in its design. Additionally, he also reiterated the key specifications of the device.

Redmi K80 Ultra Details Leaked

According to the leak, the Redmi K80 Ultra will have a 6.8x-inch flat OLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution and uniform bezels. The most notable design change is the round camera module, aligning it with the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro rather than the K70 Ultra, which had a square arrangement. The K80 Ultra is expected to house a triple-camera setup within this circular module, positioned at the upper-left corner of the rear panel. For durability, it will be equipped with a metal middle frame.

The smartphone is set to be equipped with MediaTek’s forthcoming Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, ensuring robust performance. It is anticipated to include a substantial battery capacity of either 7,400mAh or 7,500mAh, along with support for 100W fast charging, mirroring the specifications of its predecessor.

In addition to the K80 Ultra, reports indicate that Redmi is in the process of developing two additional devices. One of these is the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is expected to incorporate the Snapdragon 8s Elite and may be launched as soon as April. Another device under development is a gaming tablet, potentially named the Redmi Pad Pro 2, which could be unveiled alongside the K80 Ultra in July. This tablet is rumored to feature the same Dimensity 9400+ chipset as the K80 Ultra. By the end of the year, the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro are anticipated to be released, powered by a custom version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite and the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipsets, respectively.
