Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, an upgraded version of the Turbo 4. It is the first phone to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. This model offers a large screen, a big battery, and high-end features, with options up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
Design and Display
The Turbo 4 Pro has a 6.83-inch OLED display. It offers a resolution of 2,772 by 1,280 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen peaks at 1,600 nits brightness and has an optical fingerprint scanner underneath. It carries an IP68 rating for dust and water protection. The phone comes in black, white, and green. Xiaomi has also introduced a Harry Potter edition made with Warner Bros.
Internals and Software
This is the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. It is available in different memory options, with the top version having 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The phone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, based on Android 15.
Camera
The back camera has a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. This setup is the same as in the non-Pro version. There is no mention of a telephoto or macro lens.
Battery and Pricing
A major feature is the 7,550mAh battery made with silicon carbon. It supports 90W wired fast charging. The device also offers reverse wired charging at 22.5W, allowing it to charge other phones or accessories like a power bank.
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro costs about $274 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The highest-end version, with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, costs around $411.
