The new mid-range phone showed up on GeekBench. It listed its OpenCL scores. OpenCL tests graphics performance. The listing doesn’t name the phone. It shows ‘Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Full Android on S5E8865 ERD’. The ‘S5E8865’ is the Exynos 1680 chip. This chip is the update to the Exynos 1580. The A56 used the Exynos 1580.

This phone is likely the Galaxy A57. The benchmark shows 8GB of RAM. It also shows the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU. The phone scored 6524 in the OpenCL test. This matches an earlier report from May. That report also mentioned a new Exynos chip with the S5E8865 number.

We don’t know the release date yet. Features and design are also unclear. The Galaxy A56 had a 6.7-inch screen. It also had a 120Hz display. The camera had 50MP. The battery was 5000mAh.
